Role OverviewThe Sales Manager Germany will be responsible for developing and managing commercial activities in the German market, with responsibility for both Tirelli and Unimac Gherri product portfolios.The role is strongly business-oriented, focused on market development, new customer acquisition, and long-term relationship management, serving customers operating in cosmetics, personal care, home care, pharmaceutical, food, and related industries.This position requires the ability to efficiently manage a diversified product offering, adapting the commercial approach to different target markets while acting as a single point of reference for customers in the assigned territory.Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the German market for Tirelli and Unimac Gherri solutionsIdentify, prospect, and acquire new customers across food, cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.Manage and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and high customer satisfactionManage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closingAct as the main commercial contact for customers in GermanyWork closely with Tirelli and Unimac Gherri headquarters in Italy, coordinating with technical, engineering, and after-sales teams to define tailor‐made technical and commercial solutionsCoordinate internally to ensure smooth project execution, order follow‐up, and customer supportParticipate in and represent the Group at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events in Germany and EuropeEnsure structured sales reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting using the Group's CRM system
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales roles, preferably in:
packaging machineryfilling, closing, labeling and end of line equipment including robotic solutionscapital equipment for food, home/personal care, chemicals and pharma
Solid experience in B2B industrial machinery salesStrong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skillsAbility to work independently, while effectively collaborating within an international group organizationTechnical or commercial background; Engineering or Business degree is a plusWillingness to travel frequently within Germany, Austria, Switzerland with periodic trips to ItalyConfident use of CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeValid driving license
Language Skills
