Roquette is recruiting an ACCOUNT MANAGER reporting to the GBU Food Europe for the Italian & Middle East & Africa market.

POSITION PURPOSE
Customer sales, account and interaction management.
Delivers sales/profit targets and development through prospecting and leveraging on business development opportunities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Account Manager Food will have the following key accountabilities :

* Delivers Sales targets/variable margin for the assigned AREA or segment through prospecting and leveraging on business development opportunities.
* Deliver Sales & Variable Margin target for the Area, as defined by BU management
* Detect new customers and identify potential opportunities.
* Lead and coordinate customer interactions.
* Sales funnel /customer portfolio monitoring
* Lead negotiation process from initial offer through contracts/ pricing
* Developing strategic account plans
* Establish attractive value propositions for new customers.
* Convert new opportunities into sales
* Manage the existing customer portfolio with a focus on growth.
* Input into our SI&OP for own customer
* Entrepreneurial self-starter mindset, agile and able to build relationships and manage customers.
* Curious enough to prospect customers and create new business (rapidly changing demands)
* Able to manage a diverse range of customers, products and applications.
* Able to get insights with proactive relationships with the Customer Base

TECHNICAL SKILLS

The main Technical Skills required to Account Manager Feed are:

* Good knowledge of production processes in food industry.
* Understanding of the use of starch derivatives and competitive products (other than starches)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Masters/bachelor’s degree in business or/and Engineer (technical formation)

Experience:

Experience in Roquette business and sales.

Language requirements:

Digital requirements:

* Able to use all the main Microsoft tools (Excel/PPT…)
* SAP ERP and Sales Force CRM knowledges

Business Trips (percentage):

50/60%
