This high-impact role is ideal for a self-starter with a hunter mentality who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering value to customers. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to closing deals and managing long-term client relationships.This role also includes the recruitment & oversight of a tender administrator, coordinating public procurement and tendering activities across Italy & Iberia.Key areas of responsibility:Sales LeadershipDevelop, own, execute & deliver the regional sales strategy across the full Yourgene & Primer Design portfolio.Achieve and exceed revenue targets through strategic planning, pipeline development, and effective execution.Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across direct and indirect channels.Personally manage key customer relationships and develop a strong KOL network.Develop & implement a GTM strategy including distributors & sales agents.Tender Management OversightOversee the Italian & Iberia tender management function, ensuring efficient, compliant execution of all public procurement activities across Southern Europe.Provide strategic direction and coaching to the Tender administrator, ensuring high‑quality tender submissions aligned with commercial priorities and revenue targets.Partner cross‑functionally with commercial, legal, finance, and supply chain teams to remove obstacles, optimise bid strategies, and drive successful tender outcomes.Monitor regional tender pipelines, evaluate risks and opportunities, and present insights, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.Customer & Market EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and regional dynamics to inform strategy.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on go-to-market strategies.Ensure accurate and timely CRM updates, including forecasting and reporting.Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, the UK Bribery Act, and internal Quality Systems.Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:Sales LeadershipDevelop, own, execute & deliver the regional sales strategy across the full Yourgene & Primer Design portfolio.Achieve and exceed revenue targets through strategic planning, pipeline development, and effective execution.Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across direct and indirect channels.Personally manage key customer relationships and develop a strong KOL network.Develop & implement a GTM strategy including distributors & sales agents.Tender Management OversightOversee the Italian & Iberia tender management function, ensuring efficient, compliant execution of all public procurement activities across Southern Europe.Provide strategic direction and coaching to the Tender administrator, ensuring high‑quality tender submissio
