The core mission of the role is to develop and expand ARAG's presence in the assigned international markets, driving growth and strengthening our position in strategic geographies. /p h3The Role /h3 pAs a bBusiness Development Manager /b, you will play a key role in expanding ARAG’s presence across multiple international markets. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, scouting and mapping new customer bases, and building strong relationships with our clients. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and expand ARAG’s presence in assigned international markets, with a focus on high‑priority regions in Europe. /li liIdentify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through structured market mapping and scouting. /li liBuild and manage strong relationships directly with OEM customers and distribution networks. /li liConduct regular market visits (35–40% travel) to engage local stakeholders, understand market dynamics, and unlock new potential. /li liDrive business development initiatives to increase market penetration and accelerate revenue growth. /li liCollaborate with internal teams to align commercial strategies and offer tailored solutions to prospects. /li liMonitor competitive landscape, customer behaviours, and industry trends to identify strategic opportunities. /li liPrepare forecasts, market reports, and development plans to support business decisions. /li liRepresent ARAG at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer meetings. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li2–4 years of experience in international business development or similar roles focused on opening new markets. /li liProven ability to manage direct market development—not through agents, but through direct customer engagement. /li liExperience in technical B2B environments; preferred industries: fluid management, oleodynamics, hydraulic components. /li liBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Languages, or related fields. /li liFluent in English; German is a strong plus. /li liStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. /li liAvailability to travel internationally (35–40%). /li liStrong commercial mindset with structured, analytical approach to market development. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pWe offer a stimulating and dynamic environment where innovation, global collaboration, and professional growth are at the heart of our culture.
