Italy Marketing Manager (Home-based) – Energy Storage / Residential ESS
We are looking for an experienced local-market-oriented Marketing Manager to support the expansion of our energy storage business in Italy. The role will focus on residential ESS / renewable energy market development, brand localization, channel marketing, and offline event execution. This position is home-based in Italy and requires frequent local travel.
Job Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth research on the Italian local market, competitors, customer behavior, and industry trends within the residential energy storage and renewable energy sectors;
provide market insightsand strategic recommendations.
* Develop and execute annual marketing plans and budgets tailored to the Italian market, ensuring localization of brand positioning, communication strategy, and marketing activities.
* Plan and execute offline marketing activities, including:
* Local exhibitions and trade shows
* Product launch events
* Dealer conferences and customer roadshows
* Marketing seminars and promotional campaigns
* Take ownership of event planning and execution details, including:
* Visual branding and localized promotional content
* Evaluate and analyze marketing campaign performance and ROI, continuously optimizing marketing effectiveness and brand influence in the local market.
* Collaborate closely with distributors and channel partners to implement joint marketing activities and improve channel engagement.
* Provide comprehensive marketing support to the local sales team and distributors, including promotional materials, branding support, lead-generation activities, and localized communication content.
* Coordinate with HQ marketing and product teams to ensure consistent global branding while adapting to local market needs.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business, Communications, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
* Minimum 3–5 years of marketing experience in:
* Energy Storage (ESS / Residential ESS preferred), or
* Renewable Energy, Solar PV, Inverter, EV Charging, Smart Energy industries.
* Familiar with the Italian renewable energy market ecosystem, including distributors, installers, EPCs, industry media, and exhibitions.
* Strong experience in offline event planning and execution, including exhibitions, roadshows, and dealer marketing activities.
* Good understanding of local Italian culture and consumer behavior, with strong localization capability.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to work cross-functionally with HQ, sales teams, agencies, and partners.
* Self-driven and capable of independently managing projects in a remote working environment.
* Fluent in Italian and English;
Chinese language ability is a plus.
