As Restaurant Manager, you will be at the heart of the dining experience, ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction and team engagement.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Working closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will lead service delivery, supervise the team, and ensure the restaurant reflects the brand's quality, energy, and charm at every moment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
Ensure a warm, elegant, and engaging guest experience throughout all service periods.
Actively engage with guests, anticipate needs, and manage VIP and regular guest relations.
Maintain consistency in service standards, table settings, ambiance, and presentation.
Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Service Operations
Lead daily briefings and manage floor plans, section allocations, and team rotations.
Supervise opening and closing duties, service flow, and cleanliness.
Ensure proper coordination with the kitchen, bar, and host teams.
Maintain stock of service items, uniforms, and FOH supplies.
Team Management
Coach, motivate, and support waitstaff, hosts, and runners on the floor.
Assist in recruitment, training, and development of new team members.
Foster a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and accountability.
Monitor grooming, punctuality, and team performance on a daily basis.
Administrative & Financial Support
Oversee reservations, guest seating strategy, and special requests.
Monitor daily revenue, voids, discounts, and upselling performance.
Manage shift reports, tip distribution, and service charge tracking.
Assist in compiling feedback, inventory records, and service logs.
Event & Promotion Support
Support setup and execution of in-house events and seasonal activations.
Coordinate with marketing and central teams to ensure FOH alignment with brand initiatives.
Oversee floor logistics during high-profile evenings or special events.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Floor Manager in a premium/lifestyle restaurant.
Deep understanding of hospitality service, Italian culinary culture, and guest care.
Strong floor presence, leadership, and team coordination skills.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Proficient with POS and reservations systems (e.g., SevenRooms, Resy, or similar).
