WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
STEM Graduate – Junior System Administrator Linux (Fixed-Term | On-site)
Location: Rome, Tor Tre Teste area, on-site, 5 days/week
Join our client’s elite technical team in Rome, supporting key activities for European space programs. The company is a long-standing partner of space agencies and institutions, with deep expertise in IT systems, operations, and engineering support for ground segment infrastructures.
We are looking for a motivated STEM graduate (preferably in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or Telecommunications) eager to start their career in a dynamic, international environment.
You will join our client’s technical operations team based in Rome (Tor Tre Teste area), supporting activities related to Linux systems administration, database management, and technical verification tasks within high-security, critical-infrastructure environments. A B2 level of English is required.
The ideal candidate has already completed an internship or held a junior technical role, and is ready to take ownership of operational tasks, work closely with clients, and grow into a consulting mindset.
YOUR TASKS
* Support system administration of Linux-based environments
* Manage databases, monitoring, and basic configuration
* Collaborate on technical documentation, reporting, and system validation
* Participate in client-side operations and service delivery
* Assist with application monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting
* Follow up on ticketing systems and support workflows
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, etc.)
* English B2 or higher (spoken and written)
* Basic knowledge of Linux OS and databases
* Strong communication skills and client-oriented attitude
* Hands-on mindset, flexibility, and readiness to learn quickly
Preferred: First experience through an internship or junior position, familiarity with ticketing tools and technical documentation, availability to start on short notice.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* Location: Rome (Tor Tre Teste area), full-time on-site presence required
* Contract: Fixed-term contract or freelance (initial visibility until January 2026)
* Work environment: International, fast-paced, high-security, in-person presence mandatory
* Start: immediately
