We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and financial performance of a major Data Centre project in Milan. This is a high-impact role where you’ll provide strategic guidance, ensure contractual compliance, and drive value while protecting project integrity and client interests.
What You’ll Do:Act as commercial interface between clients, project teams, and subcontractors.Implement project-specific commercial strategies for a complex data centre build.Maintain full visibility of financial position, change control, and risk exposure.Own cost planning: prepare budgets, forecasts, and advise on design changes.Oversee procurement: define strategy, manage tendering, and approve contracts.Manage contracts: control changes, produce cost reports, and support dispute resolution.Mentor junior commercial staff and promote commercial awareness across teams.
What We’re Looking For:Proven experience in commercial management within data centre construction or large-scale technical projectStrong knowledge of cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to lead, mentor, and foster collaboration.
