Ph3Overview /h3pThe Team: Italy is a key focus territory for Deliveroo, partnering closely with commercial, operations and marketing to deliver results for customers. Regional teams present a major growth opportunity and we are building a team of commercially savvy, entrepreneurial individuals to fulfil our potential. /ppThe role: Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the City Manager is an important member of the Italian Commercial team. You will build relationships with restaurant partners in your area, improve our customer proposition, and identify ways to sustain fast growth. This role is based in Genova or a nearby city. /ph3What you''ll do /h3ulliBe the local expert for your city (or cities): knowing the restaurant industry and being the face of Deliveroo in the area. /liliDraw insights from data to improve our customer proposition neighbourhood by neighbourhood. /liliAccount management for top restaurant partners, leading negotiations and optimising partner performance for growth on the Deliveroo platform. /liliCollaborate with the local account manager to grow local hero brands. /liliIdentify and sign up new and top local favourites to Deliveroo and set them up for success. /liliMap out the local sales strategy, identifying value proposition gaps to close and areas to focus on. /liliUnderstand and improve our customer offering in the area through local knowledge, including improving selection and restaurant operations, and working on the area''s strategy plan with the Regional Manager and relevant teams. /liliMaximise marketing opportunities in the area by encouraging restaurant participation. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulli3-4 years of proven experience in account/relationship management, sales or strategy roles. /liliResults- and target-oriented. /liliComfortable using and understanding data on restaurant partners and city/area performance to identify areas for improvement. /liliA mix of field-based (2-3 days per week) and office/home working. /liliStrong relationship-building and communication skills (face-to-face, phone or email). /li /ulh3Why Deliveroo? /h3pOur mission is to transform the way people shop and eat by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders.
