He/She follows the Pastry Chef instrucions in order to provide excellence, consistency, quality and creativity across all pastry offerings.About the RoleMain Responsibilities:Production: Create and prepare a wide range of pastries, cakes, chocolates, and plated desserts for service.Section Management: Oversee the pastry station to ensure high-quality, consistent output, including during busy service periods.Quality Control: Ensure all items meet established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.Inventory & Hygiene: Monitor ingredient stock levels, manage waste, and maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation following HACCP or USPH procedures.Menu Collaboration: Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in creating new, innovative menu items.Training & Supervision: Assist in training and mentoring junior pastry staffCreativity & CollaborationContribute creative input to pastry menus and seasonal offeringsSupport tastings, promotions, and new dessert rolloutsCollaborate closely with the Sous Chef Pastry and Executive ChefCandidate ProfileAt least 1 year experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a luxury environment.
