Position
The resource, directly reporting to the Industrial Controlling Manager, will be responsible for managing the Leather Goods plant close to Naples, defining and improving flows and processes, preparing and monitoring the main industrial KPIs (department productivity, cost efficiency, extra consumption, etc.), monitoring stock, supporting the inventory process and validating inventory adjustments, monthly closing activities with analysis of actual vs budget variances, and preparing reports for management. Background in the leather goods industry is not mandatory but would be higly appreciated.
Job responsibilities
Financial acivities:
 1. Oversee the financial operations of the leather goods plant in Naples.
 2. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
 3. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances to provide actionable insights.
 4. Preparation and monitoring of the main industrial KPIs (internal department productivity, efficiency, waste, extra consumption, etc.) and sharing with various departments and Industrial Management.
Stock and Inventory Management:
 5. Monitor stock levels and support the inventory process, including validating inventory adjustments.
 6. Ensure accurate and timely inventory reporting and reconciliation.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
 7. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including the preparation of detailed financial plans and projections.
 8. Analyze actual vs. budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Strategy
 9. Business support through the creation of ad hoc analyses, business cases, and scenarios spanning one or more years.
 10. Present financial results and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
 11. Ensure compliance with deadlines
 12. Process Improvement:
 13. Define, implement, and continuously improve financial processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
 14. Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key task
 15. Monitor and enhance monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analysis and corrective actions implementation in agreement with Industrial Department Management
 16. Conduct regular reviews of financial performance metrics and provide reports to senior management.

Profile
 19. Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Economics or Management Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.
 20. Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance controlling, preferably in the leather goods or manufacturing industry.
 21. Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
 22. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
 23. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
 24. Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
 25. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
 26. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
 27. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
