The Role As the Associate Director, SAP Sales Specialist, you will drive sales of transformational SAP services, focusing on recurring managed services business with new and existing customers. This involves strategic planning, business development, customer relationship management, and ensuring successful outcomes across assigned accounts. You will collaborate with senior executives, customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to meet business objectives, drive growth, and work closely with country sales teams and consulting delivery managers. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the SAP portfolio, and manage customer journeys from ECC to SAP S/4HANA RISE offerings. Serve as the primary contact for key customers, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships. Understand customer challenges, develop innovative SAP solutions, and manage proposals and RFPs. Oversee financial planning of customer proposals, ensuring profitable delivery and achieving revenue targets. Ensure successful service delivery of SAP signings. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure positive client outcomes and overall business success. Sales Experience: 7 years in SAP product/services sales, including 4 years managing large SAP projects. Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP solutions, including S/4HANA, ECC, RISE, BTP, Ariba, MDG. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams. Business Acumen: Understanding of financials, market dynamics, and business development. Customer Focus: Strong relationship-building skills. Communication: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, including to C-suite audiences. Problem-Solving: Analytical skills for data-driven decisions. Knowledge of SAP functional areas like FI, SD, MM, PP, PS, BTP, WM. Preferred Skills and Experiences: Experience with SAP integrations, Concur, SuccessFactors, Sales Cloud, and Coupa. Experience with multi-tier/hybrid-cloud systems for large enterprises. Knowledge of industry-specific SAP requirements. Experience with SAP’s Activate Methodology. Interaction with senior leadership.
