Job Description:
Objectives:
* Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new customers in Italy, collaborating closely with the company’s management.
* Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
* Deliver offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
* Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities:
* Define sales strategies for the company's products.
* Gather information for sale contracts.
* Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
* Identify new business opportunities, focusing on replacing Polyamide compounds.
* Negotiate sales terms with management approval.
* Manage customer rates and records.
* Issue material samples and test requests for laboratory testing.
* Develop and maintain customer relationships for long-term engagement.
* Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes.
* Manage customer and financial risks, delivery disruptions, and structural changes.
* Serve as an interface among customers, management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance teams.
* Support technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
* Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during management meetings.
Your profile:
* Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
* Deep understanding of company's technical capabilities and product advantages.
* Knowledge of the plastics industry, especially injection moulding, with successful account management experience.
* Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
* Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate customer issues.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external communication.
* Effective time management and prioritization skills with a proactive approach.
* Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
