Main activities
Manage and consolidate the assigned customer portfolio, building strong and long-term relationships, understanding their technical and commercial needs.
Support and coordinate international agents and distributors, in close collaboration with the in-house Sales team, ensuring their alignment with business strategies.
Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets in the reference area.
Work with the in-house Sales team and Customer Service to ensure effective order, delivery, and operational management.
Prepare sales reports, performance analysis and trade forecasts.
Requirements
Must have
Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering or a related engineering field.
Established experience in business roles in the relevant industry, with responsibility for business development and managing key customers.
Ability to manage relationships with shipowners, shipyards or comparable industrial customers.
In-depth knowledge of international maritime markets and B2B trade dynamics.
Experience in negotiating and closing contracts of relevant value.
Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Office package and commercial reporting.
Budget management and sales forecasting skills.
Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Availability for frequent international travel and client meetings.
Nice to have
Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
