We encourage advancement and offer tangible development opportunities!In This Role Your Responsibilities Will BeDeveloping and maintaining a solid understanding of available market and business opportunities and across all types of customers within the agreed sales territory;Continuously maintaining the high effectiveness of ongoing Sales Activity by utilizing consistent planning and execution processes and methodologies;Identifying new and actively engaging with existing customers in the dedicated sales territory by promoting product features and deploying the sales skills and technical knowledge;Maintaining and retaining the customers base in the dedicated sales territory by developing aligning and supporting the relations between all levels of Emersons and Customers organizations.Mapping out the key stakeholders within customer organizations understanding their roles responsibilities and influence and building relationships between them and the various Emerson sales personas.Presenting and differentiate tailored solutions to stakeholders demonstrating how our products can meet their specific needs and solve their problems.Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within assigned accounts from lead to PO focusing on maximizing the potential of our product portfolio including filling whitespace and generate new demand for our products and services.Working closely with Inside Sales team and other Business Unit team to ensure high quality customer conversations.Staying informed about industry trends market conditions and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market demands.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all account activities opportunities and sales forecasts in CRM related to the territory/customer assigned. Working with internal software and tools to be able to finally present proposals to the customerWho You AreYou are a passionate and technically competent sales professional who thrives on creating value for customers. Driven by curiosity and purpose you bring energy and leadership to every interaction.For This Role You Will NeedTechnical degree or equivalent experience in engineering.Sales experience with focus on Valves and/or Control Valves in OEM and/or End User Market.Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn complex products and solutions offerings.Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.Proficiency in English and Italian.Availability to travel up to 60% of the time in the assigned Territory / CustomerProven track record of effectively identifying business opportunities and achieving desired outcomesAbility to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business unitsPreferred Qualifications that Set You ApartA background or experience in industrial automation valves/instrumentation or process control systems is a strong plusProactive results-driven and detail-orientedExcellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)Strong problem-solving and negotiation skillsOur Culture & Commitment to YouAt Emerson we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued respected and empowered to grow.
