Earnings: up to £34,000 inclusive of service charge (base of £13.47h + service charge)

Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours, shifts starting from 5.30am
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our creative on-site pastry team. Our open Pastry department is part of the experience at Eataly, this is a role where guest interaction is frequent. We create a variety of tarts, bignes, cakes, gelato, bespoke cakes, croissants and much more, all made with high-quality and fresh ingredients, and served in our cafè and in the restaurants.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...
· Participates in the production of all pastry items for Eataly’s counters and restaurants.
· Prepares pastries, tiramisu, cannoli, cookies, croissants, gelato, and other Italian desserts.
· To ensure that the kitchen area is cleaned throughout the day.
· To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
* At least 2 years of experience working as a Pastry Commis Chef or Chef de Partie.
* Shifts for this role will fall between 5.30 am and 9.00 pm. To be considered for this role, you must be available flexibly between these times.
* Strong demonstrable skills with key pastry preparations.
* Experience in Italian pastry is advantageous.
* Valid right to work in the UK.
