Experteer OverviewAs Delivery Manager for the GCAP Digital Thread, you shape and evolve the Digital Engineering information system across Edgewing, its supply chain, and customers.You own the Digital Engineering Information Map and the toolchain integration, ensuring scalable, secure data flows and interoperable architectures across geographies. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable Digital Twins, federated integration, and lifecycle management from design to operations.This role offers the chance to influence strategy, governance, and real-world digital capability with Edgewing and partners.Retribuzione / BenefitsLead the design, implementation, and evolution of the Digital Thread and its information architectureOwn and govern the Digital Engineering Information Map, including interfaces and lifecycle statesArchitect and supervise toolchain integration and data interoperability across legacy and new systemsDefine data flow contracts, security classifications, and recovery/availability requirementsEnsure end-to-end traceability from requirements to manufacturing and operationsDrive federated, incremental integration balancing legacy coexistence with new toolchainsOversee governance, decision logs, and architecture reviews to prevent silosCoordinate data continuity, security, and resilience across geographies and domainsResponsabilitàMinimum 5 years in a similar defence/aerospace/complex engineering role delivering integrated digital solutionsExperience with event-driven architectures, middleware, Change Data Capture, and data replication/synchronisationDegree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical disciplineService Management expertise (ITIL) with enabling technology servicesProject/Programme Management certification (APM, PRINCE2) or equivalent complex delivery experienceDeep knowledge of Digital Engineering technologies (data architecture, toolchain integration, MBSE/MBD, PLM, simulation, interoperability standards)Proven track record designing and delivering federated information systems architecture across multi-domain environmentsStrong understanding of engineering processes, data flows, configuration management, and traceabilityExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, IT, quality, cybersecurity, and supply chain teams
