Position: Account Manager You will serve as the main sales contact for the North-West Italy territory, covering all of Quaker Houghton's products, equipment, and services. Your focus will be on nurturing relationships with existing customers, primarily in the metalworking market, and driving cross-selling and customer satisfaction initiatives. Build strong relationships with key contacts to enhance customer satisfaction and cross-selling success. Create customer presentations, proposals, and value plans demonstrating Quaker Houghton’s benefits. Provide technical advice in collaboration with our Product Application team. Coordinate with the KAM team to align strategies and maximize business potential. Work with the Fluid Intelligence Solutions team on equipment sales. Collaborate with Customer Service and Technical Service teams to meet customer expectations. Report regularly on sales, budgets, and forecasts using CRM and other IT tools. Participate in industry conferences and trade shows. Monitor industry trends, competitors, and regulations, providing feedback for innovation and market development. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of proven sales experience in the metalworking industry, preferably with lubricants, greases, coolants, or similar chemicals. A background in Mechanical, Metallurgic, Chemical, or relevant engineering is highly valued. Fluency in Italian and English is required. The role is field-based in North and West Italy, requiring excellent communication, trust-building skills, safety awareness, and a results-driven, autonomous, team-oriented attitude.
