Mario’s Hospitality LTD. is seeking an experienced and passionate Sommelier to join our hospitality team in the Cayman Islands. We are looking for a professional who is enthusiastic about wine, guest experience, and fine dining service, with the ability to create memorable experiences for our guests while supporting a strong and collaborative restaurant team. Responsibilities - Curate and maintain the wine program and cellar - Assist guests with wine selections and pairings - Train and educate service staff on wine knowledge and service standards - Maintain inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships - Ensure proper wine storage, presentation, and service - Support the restaurant team in delivering exceptional guest experiences - Stay current with wine trends, regions, and producers Requirements - Previous experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining or upscale hospitality environment - Strong knowledge of wine regions, varietals, spirits, and pairings - Excellent communication and guest service skills - WSET, CMS, or equivalent certification preferred - Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment - Positive attitude, professionalism, and attention to detail What We Offer - Competitive compensation - Opportunity to work in the Cayman Islands - Career growth within a growing hospitality company - Supportive and professional team environment - Experience working with an international clientele vetrinabakeca
