Ph3Location /h3 pLocation: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region. You will be expected to be based in this region. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the lifecycle of the product development by reviewing the priorities and goals for the products you are responsible for. /li liWork closely with the engineering leads to oversee the product development process. /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to address common challenges across projects, to align on priorities, to make informed decisions, and to keep business execution on track. /li liConduct market research, analyse industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities, and to ensure alignment with Canonical's overall vision. /li liDevelop your team through coaching, mentoring and training. /li liEstablish KPIs for project status reporting and communicate it across Canonical. /li liDrive execution excellence through continuous feedback and improvement. /li liContribute to the development of strategies to create and maintain high performing teams. /li liContribute to the success of our sales team in winning new opportunities, by reviewing customer feedback and participating in customer meetings. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liSeasoned product management experience in technical domains related to the usage and/or the management of open source software in the cloud native landscape. /li liExperiences designing or managing software operations for large scale distributed systems. /li liGood understanding of cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker containers. /li liComprehensive knowledge of the common enterprise security and compliance requirements in the area of software operations. /li liProven ability to lead technical teams and drive their execution to excellence. /li liPassion to write about technologies and experience in the area of developer marketing. /li liA strong work ethic, and personal interests aligned with the open source philosophy. /li liExcellent communications skills in English, both verbal and written. /li liWillingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events. /li /ul h3Nice‑to‑have Skills /h3 ul liExperience with CNCF projects, identity or observability systems is a plus. /li liDemonstrate an insatiable intellectual curiosity, and be passionate about the future of technology. /li liHave a strong sense of ownership.
