Job Summary
J&J Orthopedics is seeking a Product Manager TECA&S (Traumatologia e Chirurgia Artroscopica) who will take responsibility for managing the full product portfolio lifecycle. The role involves defining product strategy, launching new products (NPI), coordinating cross‐functional teams, and ensuring commercial success under their purview.
Responsibilities
Define the product vision and strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams—including product development, marketing, sales, tender, regulatory, finance, medical, and professional education—to ensure successful product launch and positioning.
Work with EMEA and Global teams to implement launch plans and organize marketing activities and projects.
Manage the entire product lifecycle, from initial planning and development to commercialization and ongoing post‐launch support.
Define and monitor key performance metrics and regularly evaluate product success, making necessary strategic adjustments.
Coordinate product forecasts and arrival with the Supply Chain team to ensure alignment with target expectations.
Handle technical and qualitative responses to tenders, developing and updating supporting documentation.
Communicate the product vision and key updates effectively to internal and external stakeholders, and organize training sessions for direct and indirect sales forces.
Maintain in‐depth knowledge of market trends to guide strategic decisions.
Manage the assigned product budget and ensure efficient use of financial resources.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in scientific, medical, economic or equivalent disciplines, preferably with a specialization in Marketing.
Experience in a commercial role in the Medical Devices sector, with operating room experience.
Proven knowledge of the full product lifecycle, from development to discontinuation, including regulatory landscape in the Italian medical devices industry.
Familiarity with main marketing tools and methodologies for optimal product management and robust strategy.
Prior experience with Orthopedics product portfolios is a bonus.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate market data into strategic actions; advanced knowledge of Excel required.
Excellent communication and relational skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Results‐oriented mindset and ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic, fast‐evolving environment.
Innovative and creative mindset, able to think strategically and anticipate market needs.
Excellent written and spoken English; native Italian language proficiency.
Proficiency with Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and Power BI is a plus.
Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
