About The Role

We currently have an amazing opportunity for a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at San Domenico Palace Taormina, a Four Seasons Hotel.

What You Will Do

- Be responsible for leading the Pastry and Bakery operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, creativity, and consistency across all outlets.
- Develop and implement pastry concepts and seasonal offerings aligned with the hotel’s culinary vision and guest expectations.
- Oversee daily operations of the pastry kitchen, including production planning, quality control, and hygiene standards.
- Manage and mentor the pastry team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and continuous development.
- Monitor costs and productivity, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budget guidelines.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and attention to detail.

What You Bring
- Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in a pastry role with leadership responsibilities, preferably in luxury or high‑end hospitality environments.
- Proven leadership and organizational abilities, with experience managing and developing a team.
- Strong creative skills with a passion for innovation and excellence in pastry and dessert presentation.
- Solid knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Fluent in both English and Italian, with the ability to communicate clearly in both languages.
