Job Description:
The position is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
* Defining the product roadmap by researching and analyzing market conditions, identifying key competitors and trends.
* Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
* Articulating key market requirements, identifying opportunities for product innovation and enhancements.
* Working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to meet development targets and customer satisfaction goals.
* Planning and executing strategic initiatives to develop business opportunities leveraging current and future technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Key accountabilities:
* Define the product strategy and roadmap.
* Deliver market and product requirements.
* Develop and secure significant new initiatives impacting revenue.
* Collaborate with customers, partners, and third parties on partnerships and licensing opportunities.
* Manage programs/projects to plan and execute beta and discovery phases for new products and samples.
* Support sales and marketing with technical expertise and product knowledge.
* Enhance cross-functional collaboration and build trust among teams.
* Liaise with advertising and PR to promote the product.
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering; MBA is a plus.
* Experience as a Product Manager or Business Developer in food & beverage industry (customer or supplier side).
* Success in launching components/devices in the market.
* Knowledge of industry standards in food & beverage.
* Proven project management skills; PMP certification is a plus.
* Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
* Strong teamwork and influence skills without formal authority.
* Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills with adaptability.
* Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
