The role involves delivering high-quality pre-sales technical support and presentations to communicate value to prospective buyers, focusing on supporting the Enterprise market. The candidate will be a product solution specialist ensuring the best technical solutions are provided. /ppThe ideal candidate will have experience in Service Assurance and Security, with a focus on Service Assurance. Reporting to the SE Manager, the role involves extensive customer interaction, collaboration with sales, and developing new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships. The candidate should be based in Italy. /ppbResponsibilities : /b /polliDevelop business and technical strategies with Account Managers and Regional Directors. /liliInvestigate prospect needs and develop strategies to win business. /liliAssist sales teams in tactical decision-making. /liliIdentify business problems and offer solutions. /liliProvide technical support using NETSCOUT’s best practices. /liliManage all lead technical activities and build relationships within customer IT infrastructures. /liliHelp achieve sales targets through technical assistance and opportunity assessment. /liliCreate and deliver PoCs, manage bakeoffs, and conduct presentations and product demonstrations. /liliExplore user scenarios and identify upsell opportunities. /liliTravel within Italy and the region (40-50%), carrying a laptop. /li /olpbPreferred Qualifications / Skills : /b /pulliMinimum 10 years’ experience in IT or 7 years in pre-sales roles such as Network Engineer or Application Engineer. /liliExperience working with customers to understand technical challenges and propose solutions. /liliProven success in pre-sales roles. /liliStrong networking and application background, with knowledge of Linux/Windows. /liliRegional business experience and cultural familiarity. /liliTechnical skills in Cisco routing, switching, gateways, TCP/IP, SNMP, Netflow, VoIP, LAN/WAN topologies, security, network infrastructure, and related areas. /liliKnowledge of network performance management, fault management, and tools like HP/OV, IBM Tivoli, EMC SMARTS, ArcSight. /liliExperience with nGenius products, Linux/NT operating systems, and relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) is a plus. /liliKnowledge of SDN/NFV, virtualization, cloud technologies, and security audits is advantageous. /liliFormal sales training and excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills. /liliBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; MBA is desirable. /li /ulpuRequirements : /u Full-Time, based in Italy, with English as the preferred language. /ppNETSCOUT is committed to accessibility and equal opportunity employment.
