Job Description The Business Development Manager will identify, prospect, and sell our products and services to clients in Italy. They will contribute to the development and execution of marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with the CEO and team. The role involves close collaboration with the O&M and Projects divisions, participating in tenders, preparing offers, nurturing web inquiries and network leads, and representing the company at various events. Occasional attendance at trade shows and industry events across Europe will be required for promoting our offerings. Responsibilities Develop growth strategies focusing on financial gains and customer satisfaction. Research new markets and customer needs. Negotiate and prepare sales contracts. Prospect actively via cold calling and social selling. Nurture leads from web inquiries to contract signing. Maintain relationships with existing and new clients for cross-selling and feedback collection. Gather competitive market information and perform analysis. Keep records of sales activities using the company's CRM. Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and tenders. Engage in customer interactions, including calls, meetings, needs analysis, proposal writing, presentations, negotiations, and contract management. Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and industry materials. Represent the company at trade shows and conferences. Report regularly to the CEO. Qualifications Deep industry knowledge, especially in renewables and solar markets. Excellent command of English. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3-4 years of relevant business development experience. Understanding of sales techniques and marketing principles. Sales and marketing training is a plus. Self-motivated with structured planning skills. Experience with CRM systems advantageous. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. High integrity and good time management.
