Overview
In this Robotics Product Manager role, you guide the roadmap and lifecycle of Arduino robotics platforms for education, maker, and professional markets. You'll collaborate with engineering, design, research, and business teams to deliver robust, integrated hardware‐software experiences that matter to users. You'll drive concept validation, go‐to‐market, and ongoing evolution, balancing technical feasibility, user needs, and business impact. This is a mission‐driven opportunity at Qualcomm's Arduino chapter, based in Turin, with a strong focus on impact, cross‐functional collaboration, and learning.Responsibilities
- Shape the robotics platform roadmap across Education, Maker, and Professional markets and identify new opportunities via market research and user insights
- Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineering to define functional and technical requirements
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, and firmware development ensuring targets on cost, quality, and timing
- Coordinate with supply chain and operations through prototyping to production ramp‐up
- Ensure safety, documentation, and compliance standards for robotics components
- Partner with content and support teams to produce tutorials, example projects, and getting‐started guides
- Lead validation cycles, field testing, pilots, and educator beta groups for go‐to‐market readiness
- Align marketing, sales, pricing, and segmentation strategies; support lifecycle decisions including end‐of‐life planning
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of product management experience, ideally in robotics, embedded systems, or mechatronics
- Strong technical background in robotics development: motors, motion control, sensing, simulation, firmware
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, UX, supply chain, marketing, and sales
- Hands‐on product lifecycle management: ideation, roadmap, release planning, and iteration
- Data‐driven decision‐making using user insights and metrics
- Excellent communication to both technical and non‐technical audiences
- Proactive, ownership‐driven mindset
- Fluency in English; Italian proficiency is a strong plus
