This position reports directly to the Sales Director and works closely with the Inside Sales, National, and Regional Corporate Chef teams. Description The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for planning and executing sales activities to achieve significant sales growth and to position RATIONAL as a market leader in the assigned region. The role involves working independently and collaboratively, building contacts, cultivating relationships, and developing sales with support from the Sales Director. Main Responsibilities Promote the benefits of iCombi and iVario technology through RATIONAL Cooking Live culinary events. Expand the customer base across all food service and applicable commercial market segments. Develop and expand a long-term partner and dealer network. Develop the consultant/designer network for product specification. Coordinate local activities targeting Regional Key Accounts and support the Key Account and Corporate Chef teams. Collaborate with the Service team to ensure optimal support in the region. Build a strong referral network. Document customer interactions in the Customer Relationship Management system. Manage and grow the territory by pursuing existing opportunities and creating new ones. Organize and follow up on daily/weekly/monthly plans. Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses. Manage the regional business plan and sales budget. Participate in regional and national trade shows and sales meetings. Coordinate sales, product, and marketing activities. Conduct pre- and post-sales activities, including customer visits and product demonstrations. Practical Background Experience as a sous- or executive chef. Strong communication skills in Italian and English, both verbal and written. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and results-driven. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving skills and ability to influence others. Excellent organization and time management skills. Negotiation skills and ability to close sales. Experience with budgeting and planning. Computer literacy. Valid driver's license.
