We are looking for a Sales Engineer to organize, plan, manage and grow the sales of Industrial Gasses Division’s products.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Sales Engineer
Area: North/Center West Italy
Location : Opera (MI) (or remote based)
Business Unit : Industrial Gasses
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Area of competence: North/Center West Italy (Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria, Valle d’Aosta, Toscana, Umbria)
2. Customers profiles: End Users, OEM, Distributors, EPC,MRO,Installers, Engineering
3. Industries: ALL excluding F&B and Pharma
4. Compressed Air purification
5. Technical gasses filtration
6. Methane, Biogas, Biomethane, Hydrogen, Nitrogen filtration and purification
7. Industrial liquid filtration (water, chemicals, additives,..)
8. Optimize sales and profit consistent with Company policy and long-term objectives
9. Solve customer needs with technical driven and energy saving solutions
10. Handle technical enquiries for the entire products portfolio and services
11. Utilize current Donaldson network to open new business opportunities
12. CRM management for assigned accounts
YOUR PROFILE
13. Passion for sales
14. Technical Degree in Mechanics or Electro-Mechanics or equivalent through experience
15. Cooperative, willingness to interact and work with others, team player
16. Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience in industrial sales
17. Markets knowledge
18. Familiar with organizing visits to customers (most of the time dedicated to meet customers)
19. Flexibility to travel to ensure local presence and follow-up.
20. Knowledge of Compressed Air and gas purification is an asset.
21. Commercial and sales driven. Ability to “open doors” and generate new business/opportunities
22. Self-starter, able to drive and develop opportunities, team player but also able to work independently
23. Strong communication skills in Italian and English. Other languages are an asset
