Job Description:
The position is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including:
* Defining the product roadmap by researching and analyzing market conditions, identifying key competitors and trends
* Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
* Articulating key market requirements, identifying opportunities for product innovation and enhancements
* Working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to meet development targets and customer satisfaction goals
* Planning and executing strategic initiatives to develop the business by leveraging current and future technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals
Key accountabilities:
* Define the product strategy and roadmap
* Deliver market and product requirements
* Develop and implement significant initiatives impacting revenue
* Assess partnership and licensing opportunities with customers, partners, and third parties
* Manage beta and discovery programs with early-stage products and samples, overseeing new product development
* Support sales and marketing with product knowledge and technical expertise in the application field and competition
* Enhance cross-functional collaboration and build trust among teams
* Liaise with advertising and PR to promote the product
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering; an MBA is a plus
* Solid experience as a Product Manager or in Business Development within the food & beverage industry (both customer and supplier sides)
* Proven success in launching market-ready components/devices
* Knowledge of food & beverage industry standards
* Project management skills; PMP certification is a plus
* Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and address issues promptly
* Excellent planning and organizational skills, adaptable to shifting priorities and rapid changes
* Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
