SPECTRO is one of the worldwide leading suppliers of analytical instruments, employing optical emission (stationary and mobile Arc/Spark OES, ICP-OES) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) technology used for the elemental analysis of materials in industry, research and academia. SPECTRO is part of the AMETEK Materials Analysis Division.
For our Italian team we are looking for a Sales Engineer who will actively promote, demonstrate and sell SPECTRO products portfolio in Italy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Increase SPECTRO market share and sales volume for a dedicated product line.
Develop contacts with existing customers and prospects.
Perform instrument demonstrations at customer sites.
Report activities and projects in a CRM (Sales Force).
Promote the entire product range and the company's image using social media, exhibitions, and press releases.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Hold a scientific education ideally in materials/metals with additional sales training.
Have at least 2–3 years of successful experience in the sale of technical products.
Be fluent in English and Italian.
Have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
Be self‐motivated, able to work independently and with others.
Be able to travel domestically and internationally; frequent overnight stays as required by customers in the territory (expected travel requirement about 50%).
Have good organizational skills.
Be an expert user of the Office 365 package.

Salary Minimum: 35,000
Salary Maximum: 55,000
