Salary: €42,000 gross per annum + bonus

This expanding, trendy and modern hotel is looking for a head chef in the beutiful Florence! With 20+ hotels around Europe and plans to continue expanding in the coming years, they are looking for a Head chef who is passionate, creative and who enjoys new challenges. As a Head chef, you will have a passion for Italian cuisine and will be responsible for a small new project taking place inside of the hotel.
Who are you?
At least 4+ years of experience as a head chef in hotels or restaurants
Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Prior experience in fast paced environment
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Credentials in health and safety training (HACCP)
Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
What will you do?
Responsible for the day to day operations in the kitchen
Hiring and training of new employees
Purchasing and organizing different events/locations
Prepare, cook and present high quality dishes to fascinate guests
Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety
Prepare dishes based on the menu of the restaurant
Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified needs
Apply the HACCP rules at all times in the kitchen
Proficiency in English and Italian is a must
