Experteer Overview
In this role you act as the technical expert across the A&D sales process, bridging ITS and PTE capabilities to deliver integrated solutions. You support the sales team with deep product, system, and engineering knowledge, conduct presentations and demos, and ensure accurate technical content in quotations. You will build and maintain customer relationships while feeding feedback to product development. This position sits within AVL’s A&D unit and offers exposure to global, cross-functional collaboration and strategic product launches.

* Serve as technical interface throughout the sales process for A&D opportunities (ITS and PTE scope)
* Bridge ITS instrumentation and test-system know-how with PTE engineering to craft integrated solutions
* Provide technical support to opportunity owners to achieve sales targets
* Deliver product-, application-, service-, and system-knowhow
* Prepare presentations and conduct product demonstrations
* Communicate technical benefits of AVL products to customers
* Develop and maintain customer relationships
* Ensure accuracy of technical content in customer quotations
* Provide market feedback for product development
* Support Sales during commercial negotiations
* Assist handover to Order Fulfilment and Service
* Assist Sales in utilizing customer applications (cross- and up-selling)
* Support Hotline and CS with technical expertise
* Collect customer satisfaction information post-sale
* Support ABM in daily operations and strategy, launches, and forecasting
* Support global segment at the affiliate and localization efforts
* Develop application case studies, white papers, and competitive analysis
* Support global pricing alignments and competitive intelligence
* Ensure technical proposals address A&D-specific requirements (security, export controls, traceability)
Responsabilità
* Completed education with a technical focus
* At least 2 years in sales-technical roles (advantage)
* Experience or interest in aerospace & defence (advantage)
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical mindset
* High flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities; willingness to travel ~60%
* Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams
* Team-oriented and international collaboration ability
* Willingness to undergo technical training in Graz during onboarding
* English and local language business fluency

* Salary range: 38,000–48,000 gross per year
