About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Seta Restaurant Department, the Commis de Rang is responsible to delight and satisfy our guests.
The Commis de Rang reports to the Restaurant Manager.
Responsibilities
Is responsible for transporting dishes from the kitchen to the tables ensuring speed and accuracy of service.
Must also ensure constant communication with the kitchen and colleagues in the dining room to ensure smooth and seamless service.
Ensure that everything is in order before service begins, from the cutlery on the table to the cleanliness of the Mandarin Garden areas.
Interact with guests in a professional, sincere, and hospitable manner, offering impeccable service with a smile and the right spirit of hospitality.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated person with great communication skills, fluent in Italian and English.
