We are looking for a passionate Wholesale Area Manager with knowledge of the Woman RTW luxury segment and a proven track record of positive experiences managing Corners and Shop-in-Shops especially in Europe, Middle East and APAC.
You will be in charge of account management and active prospecting of new business opportunities with multibrands and department stores, with the objective of growing brand awareness and profits through new and existing product categories.
What you'll do:
- Define the B2B wholesale strategy together with the Team in line with the company business goals and budgets;
- Analyze, forecast, and project seasonal/annual sales goals by accounts and product categories;
- Plan and execute all digital and in-store wholesale activations in line with the company strategy;
- Research and monitor the competitive landscape (other brands/markets) to identify new business opportunities and partners;
- Lead sales campaigns, present the collection and assist buyers with product selection for order placement (taking into account customer profiles and their market need);
- Build positive relationships and maintain excellent communication with all of our partners to make sure the label is properly represented;
- Prepare and analyze sell-throughs and P&Ls to proactively improve performances and offer updates to higher management;
- Liase with Production, Merchandising, Logistic and Finance teams to ensure the label is aligned wt retailers need and delivery times are met;
- Develop and manage internal and external reporting to maximise sales team results;
- Manage and train Wholesale Interns and Sales Associates;
Who we're looking for
- Relevant and proven experience (min 2 years) within the Wholesale Department in a Fashion company as a Key Account or a Wholesale Manager or Coordinator.
- Strategist, goal oriented, motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and driven by successful results.
- Highly motivated, creative on ways to boost sales while keeping in mind the brand identity.
- Flexible, adaptable and ambitious.
- Strong prospecting (cold calling) and lead generation skills.
- Energetic and dynamic team player.
- Exceptional high-end luxury taste, sense of style and product sensibility with a strong focus on Woman RTW knowledge.
- University degree in Economics or Business Management.
- Excellent analytical skills and mindset: Excel and Power Point everyday use, Joor is a plus.
- English fluent, Italian is a plus.
