Marketing Manager – Healthcare (Ecolab)
Ecolab Healthcare works to deliver cleaner, safer, and healthier environments for hospitals. The Healthcare Marketing team plays a key role in executing the European marketing strategy.
Role
The Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing strategy and plans for the Healthcare division in Europe, drive product launches, support sales, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
Create and execute marketing strategy and plans, including sales enablement.
Lead commercialization and product launch activities.
Build seamless execution and communication to support the entire region.
Support the sales team to grow revenue, increase profitability and market share.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, R&D;, and other functions and communicate with executive management and external partners.
Report directly to the European Multichannel Marketing Leader.
Main Responsibilities
Support sales growth, retention and profitability through strategic marketing programs.
Develop deep customer and market knowledge and communicate needs to the local & EU teams.
Generate evidence supporting Ecolab solutions.
Drive total solutions for senior C‑suite stakeholders in Healthcare.
Develop short‑ and long‑term digital marketing strategy.
Leverage customer relationships for market knowledge.
Manage the KOL network for specific segments.
Support business growth through market research, campaigns, pricing, budgeting and forecasting.
Create and execute marketing campaigns and events to promote brand awareness.
Develop and implement plans for product launches, phase‑in/out, sales enablement, training, competitive intelligence and market assessment.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, R&D;, Scientific Marketing, and other functions.
Keep current on market standards, associations and regulations.
Lead commercial projects and influence outcomes.
Assist in developing training programs and sales tools.
Work collaboratively with European Marketing Portfolio Managers and Strategic Marketing team.
Travel up to 25% as required.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of professional sales & marketing experience.
Or MBA with 5+ years of professional sales & marketing experience.
Experience working in a matrix environment.
Fluency in English and local language.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and navigate matrix organizations.
Leadership skills, ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Ability to foster breakthrough thinking and move new ideas forward.
Strong strategic thinking, business acumen and leadership.
Previous experience in the healthcare space.
Excellent oral and written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Experience creating customer‑facing presentations for top executives.
Sales experience (Ecolab or elsewhere).
CRM experience (Salesforce.com preferred).
International cultural awareness and business experience.
