Your Role

As Program Manager, the primary objective is to own and drive the direction and coordination of cross-functional stakeholders to enable the discovery, execution, delivery, and results monitoring of eCommerce projects. The role ensures strong alignment between business and technology partners and actively contributes to shaping the project roadmap through stakeholder negotiation, prioritization, and data-driven decision-making. Critical thinking, the ability to identify risks and dependencies, and the capacity to operate autonomously are key success factors.

The Program Manager is responsible for facilitating communication, collecting and challenging requirements, and collaborating with different functions to influence the evolution of eCommerce projects while managing and meeting deadlines.

Daily activities include close interaction and clear communication with project sponsors and teams involved, ownership of prioritization decisions, maintenance of project and roadmap documentation (Confluence, Gantt planning tools), coordination of testing and go-live activities, and continuous monitoring of project outcomes and performance.

Main Responsibilities
* PROJECT ROADMAP
* Collect and discuss business pillars of growth
* Collect project proposals from both local and corporate functions
* Align with Business Leaders to produce a roadmap in line with goals and constraints
* Ensure strategic alignment with corporate departments to develop a comprehensive roadmap for the platform's technological evolution
* PROJECT DISCOVERY
* Project Requests Prioritization
* Business Case collection and review
* Project Discovery execution
* PROJECT DELIVERY
* Define stakeholders and project tasks to create a solid project plan
* Manage project updates and track deliverables
* Monitoring and reporting on project progresses, highlighting risks to project stakeholders and preventing potential threats
* Coordinate the execution of Project Deliverables and User Acceptance Test (UAT)
* Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation
* Facilitate knowledge sharing amongst stakeholders and among peers (other PMs)
* Monitoring and analysis of project results and performance
Main Requirements

Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Management / Engineering or related. At least 1 year in Project or Program Management within an eCommerce or digital environment.

* PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE:
* Adequate knowledge of Project Management methodologies (Waterfall vs Agile)
* Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and contribute positively
* Ability to evaluate scope, cost, timeline, and expected business value to support prioritization decisions
* TIME MANAGEMENT:
* Strong prioritization skills and ability to perform cost-benefit and ROI analysis
* Effective time-management across multiple concurrent initiatives
* COMMUNICATION:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both Italian and English)
* Ability to motivate people
* Ability to interact with multiple groups to gather information and gain consensus on goals
* ECOMMERCE KNOWLEDGE:
* Digital Commerce specific experience (navigation, user experience, eCommerce principles)
* Ability to interpret a Business Case

* Management and diplomacy skills

The role operates within a collaborative, goal-oriented Program Management team that works in a complex, cross-functional, and often cross-country environment.

The team culture emphasizes clarity, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving, with a strong focus on turning complex challenges into simple, actionable solutions. Program Managers are encouraged to continuously learn, ask questions, and contribute to improving ways of working.

While the role requires autonomy and accountability, the Program Manager will be supported by the Senior Program Manager and the wider team, particularly when navigating complex prioritization decisions, stakeholder alignment, or ambiguous project scenarios.

Success in this role relies on proactive communication, a positive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a supportive and structured environment.
