As a Software Architecture Engineer, you will work on real-world embedded systems and contribute to next-generation vehicle platforms. In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to the development of scalable, high-quality software platforms that will power the next generation of vehicles. /ph3Main Activities / Responsibilities /h3ulliContribute to the design of the SW Requirements and Architecture for High-Performance Computer (HPC) and Zone Control Unit (ZCU), across all layers (drivers, middleware, frameworks, and communication protocols) /liliSupport the definition of HPC/ZCU key system functionalities such as start-up/shut-down, fault detection, Hypervisor configuration, virtual machine interaction, power, thermal, and resource management /liliContribute to the definition and tracking of system KPIs and resource allocation (RAM, Flash, CPU, GPU, NPU) across software releases /liliParticipate in technical discussions and architecture reviews, contributing to performance, reliability, and maintainability improvements /liliContribute to the design and evolution of Base Software (BSW) architecture and platform components across vehicle programs /liliSupport the development of scalable and maintainable software platforms for next-generation ECUs /liliCollaborate closely with Hardware Architects and Base Software teams to define software requirements and architecture /liliWork with application software architects to support the integration of applications into HPC and ZCU platforms /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar /lili5+ years of experience in embedded software development and/or architecture, preferably in automotive environments /liliGood understanding of AUTOSAR architecture (Classic and/or Adaptive) and Base Software concepts /liliExperience with AUTOSAR BSW configuration and/or integration /liliExperience with embedded software development in C/C++ /liliFamiliarity with embedded operating systems (e.g., AUTOSAR OS, Linux, QNX) /liliExperience working with microcontrollers, SoCs, hardware interfaces and device driver development (e.g. PWM, DIO, SPI, CAN-FD, UART, LVDS, GPIO) /liliExperience working with multi-core ECU architectures and performance optimization /liliKnowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) design /liliUnderstanding of software architecture and system design principles /liliExperience with software integration, debugging, and testing in embedded environments /liliFamiliarity with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation (DNG) or similar) /liliExperience with software modeling tools (e.g., UML, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody) is a plus /liliFamiliarity with automotive development processes (e.g., ASPICE) /liliStrong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional and international teams /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience in one or more of the following domains: ADAS, Infotainment, Connected Services, Body, or Chassis /liliExperience with software development tools and workflows (e.g., Git, Jira, CI/CD environments) /liliExperience with AUTOSAR BSW modules (e.g., MCAL, COM stack, Diagnostic stack, Memory stack) /liliExperience with vehicle network architecture and gateway functionalities /liliFamiliarity with diagnostic and communication protocols (e.g., UDS, DoIP, SOME/IP) /liliKnowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and safety-related software development /liliFamiliarity with Automotive Cybersecurity (ISO 21434) /liliExperience with project coordination activities, including planning, status reporting, and risk management /li /ulpAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
