Join our team as a Software Engineer and play a key role in software development, implementation, and customization. You’ll collaborate with management and IT teams to define and deliver on technical priorities, ensuring alignment with organizational needs. You’ll also help maintain a dynamic knowledge base of programming solutions to support a highly efficient and productive IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate software projects and provide customer support for Ascom UMS products
* Implement and manage new customer support processes for software and related technologies
* Train and support team members, deliver customer training onsite, and contribute to training material and course development
* Configure and oversee external customer support, continuously improving based on customer needs and technical analysis
* Manage all technical support calls, including monthly data extraction and analysis to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement
* Plan, execute, and maintain customer-focused implementation activities, ensuring effective coordination across the department
* Draft technical specifications for customer-specific developments
* Prepare required documentation to ensure compliance with legal regulations, CE marking, contractual obligations, and QMS standards
* Serve as the main interface with customers and third parties, coordinating all project activities from initiation to final testing
* Collaborate with Product and Development Coordinators to plan and deliver customer-driven enhancements
* Support the Delivery Coordinator by monitoring product and service deliveries, identifying and addressing any non-compliance, customer complaints, or incidents
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
* Proven experience in system integration deployments
* Experience with medical software installation and configuration
* Fluent in Italian and English
* Comfortable working in an international environment

* End-to-end testing (Cypress or Selenium)
* C# and .NET basics, including ASP.NET Core for APIs
* Other skills (CSS libraries, build tools, web security, performance optimization)
