About the role Role & Responsibilities The Account Manager role involves crafting effective customer propositions to unlock growth opportunities and improve profit delivery. Build a sell-out culture for the territory, setting depletion targets by customer and establishing incentives through trade terms and investments. Visit assigned wholesalers based on established call frequency for the relevant customer category. Develop deep knowledge of customer structures, policies, and sales approaches. Analyze and recommend the best wholesalers to support RTC objectives, based on segmentation criteria. Build collaborative relationships with key distributors. Lead category and brand educational programs for the wholesale sales force with Brand Ambassadors. Negotiate commercial agreements aligned with Diageo Italia’s policies. Deliver Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that create value for both Diageo and customers. Implement sell-out programs with wholesalers, such as leaflets, sales incentives, and distribution plans. Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and objectives. Key Outcomes MS Growth: Drive market share growth in the assigned area. NSV Growth Gross Margin %: Optimize customer P&L for investment and growth. Customer Stock: Maintain stock levels to prevent OOS and overstocking. Credit Management: Ensure timely payments and adherence to credit policies. About You Requirements Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent relationship-building skills; confident and transparent. Innovative thinking and team-oriented attitude. Strong organizational skills. Results-oriented and trustworthy. High analytical and problem-solving abilities. Flexible and adaptable to changing environments. Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial experience in field sales, preferably in the FMCG beverage industry. Working with Us Flexibility Flexibility is key to our success.
