Position Summary
This role, in conjunction with the EU market team, oversees sales activities in designated industries, focusing on applications like corporate events, concerts, festivals, public events, broadcasting rentals, virtual applications, etc., primarily related to Rental and Staging LED product lines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement strategies for business development in assigned markets, focusing on opening new opportunities and exceeding targets.
2. Identify new accounts, develop relationships, and expand sales.
3. Forecast sales and set performance goals in coordination with the EU team.
4. Establish annual industry business plans and target strategies.
5. Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
6. Travel regularly to develop business, approaching rental/production companies, consulting/design firms, creative agencies, and professionals to promote the Absen brand, and coordinate with distributors.
7. Stay informed of new products and services relevant to customers.
8. Gather and relay feedback from field activities to HQ, including product, marketing, sales, and service insights.
9. Prepare monthly and quarterly industry reports.
10. Manage communication with customers and HQ during project implementation.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
1. Host customer visits to China HQ.
2. Participate in marketing events, seminars, and trade shows.
3. Coordinate with HQ sales team for the EU market.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration.
2. At least 5 years in industrial B2B sales, marketing, or project management, preferably in AV industry.
3. Minimum 3 years’ experience in related projects with sales, marketing, or product management responsibilities.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
1. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
2. Client-oriented problem-solving skills and product delivery focus.
3. Ability to perform under high-pressure environments.
Language Skills
Fluent in written and spoken German, English, Dutch, or Italian.
Note: The role requires residing in Italy, as business activities are conducted within the country.
