Your (space) missionAs the Business Development Manager at cosine you play a key role in shaping and growing our presence in the Italian New Space market. You help turn advanced optical instrumentation into meaningful customer solutions that end up in space, supporting missions for leading commercial and institutional customers.You work closely with the Remote Sensing Director and act as a key interface between customers and our technical teams. From early‐stage opportunity identification to proposal, negotiation and contract closure, you help drive the full commercial cycle of highly innovative space instrumentation projects.In a small and growing organization like cosine Italy, your impact is immediate and visible. You take ownership, build structure, and help define how we engage with the market while working on technology that is quite literally launched into orbit.Tasks & Responsibilities
Identify, develop and follow up on new business opportunities in the space and remote sensing marketPrepare and coordinate high-quality proposals, tenders and commercial offersBuild and maintain strong relationships with commercial and institutional customersSupport the positioning and further standardization of cosine's product and service offeringCollaborate closely with engineering teams to align technical solutions with customer needs
Your profile
A technical background (e.g. engineering, physics or similar) combined with strong commercial driveExperience in business development, sales engineering or account management in a high‐tech environmentAbility to understand complex technical systems and translate them into clear customer valueComfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial organization with a high level of ownershipProactive, hands‐on and flexible mindset with strong organizational skillsExcellent communication and relationship‐building abilitiesFluent in English and Italian, both written and verbal
