Middle School Maths & Science Teacher

We are currently seeking a qualified Middle School Maths & Science Teacher to join the team. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who values STEM education and enjoys engaging learners aged 1113 (Grades 68) through hands-on, inquiry-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths and Science lessons aligned with the Canadian Ontario curriculum.
- Foster a dynamic and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
- Plan, prepare, and evaluate teaching materials in line with curriculum goals and student needs.
- Use assessments and student feedback to monitor progress and support achievement.
- Participate actively in the academic and holistic development of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary and project-based learning.
- Integrate technology to enhance learning and support 21st-century teaching practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field
- Experience teaching Maths and Science to middle school students (ages 1113)
- Strong knowledge of curriculum and assessment frameworks for STEM subjects
- Excellent command of English (C2 level or equivalent)
- Confident IT user, familiar with digital learning platforms and tools
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to diverse learning styles
- Team-oriented, flexible, and committed to the school's mission and values
Desirable
- Specialism in Biology or a related scientific discipline
- Previous experience in an international school setting
- Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum
