JOB AIMS
A Digital Marketing Assistant role requires a focus in ensuring hotels are aligned to global compliance and ensuring approved content is updated across specific digital platforms and channels; he/she will provide analysis and marketing research transformed in monthly reports to participating hotels, support destination marketing campaigns through email marketing to maximize online presence that attribute to the hotel’s performance.
This position is ideal for a motivated and creative individual eager to contribute to a company’s online presence and growth through innovative digital marketing initiatives.
This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and works closely with other departments to maintain a cohesive brand voice and strategic approach.
The candidate will be Cagliari based.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or any study title in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in digital marketing, content management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Creative and innovative thinking.
- Italian speaking, mandatory knowledge of English language.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content & Web Support
- Maintain and update website content on branded and vanity sites
- Open & monitor tickets for technical issue on dedicated Hotel Brand platforms.
- Audit websites and third-party listings (OTA, GMB, Tripadvisor), reporting scores and areas for improvement.
- Update and load photography asset library ensuring correct compliancy across all channel
- Liaise and work with hotels with detailed feedback on content audits and scores.
Digital Marketing Support
- Assist in designing and executing email campaigns.
- Support analysis of open rates, click-through rates, and other campaign metrics.
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for campaigns and support innovative ideas.
- Contribute to preparation of KPI reports and suggestions for improvements, under supervision.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital technologies.
