Account Manager, RSO - Offline Merchants
Amazon is growing its external payments operations in India. In this context, we are looking for a Sales Account Manager to help key offline organized merchants grow their business with Amazon Pay by executing go‑to‑market strategies.
As an Account Manager with Amazon, you will focus on managing regional offline brands and store merchants in India to enable Amazon Pay at their physical stores. This role involves account management of brands and offline merchants, solving issues, executing joint business plans to form alliances, and creating and driving the execution of account plans.
You must possess strong relationship‑building skills and be able to explore win‑win opportunities with merchants. Ideal candidates have account‑management, sales, or post‑sales experience managing B2B business accounts, which form the core of merchant engagement. You should help merchants understand the opportunities with Amazon Pay to grow their business and be comfortable balancing multiple priorities, working with internal and external partners, and strategically analyzing data to inform decisions.
To be successful, you should have superior communication, presentation, and organizational skills. This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever‑changing business climate.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Drive Amazon Pay adoption with B2B brands and merchants by interacting with decision makers within the stores/brands.
* Own and cultivate business relationships with key partners and stores with a long‑term vision to make Amazon Pay the preferred choice for accepting digital payments.
* Develop strategic account plans that identify creative, business‑generating initiatives.
* Act as a liaison with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Training, PR, Product Management) toward a common goal for the program.
* Forecast and report business growth and other key metrics, including tracking actual progress toward forecasts.
* Prepare and give business reviews to senior management regarding progress and roadblocks to drive business.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
