POSITION SUMMARY:
The role will have a customer focus, strong program management methodology, a clear understanding of all aspects of commercial contracts, and the authority within Gilbarco to communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels regarding these programs. The candidate must possess strong administrative skills and attention to detail to meet reporting requirements for a key account. Knowledge of Gilbarco Veeder-Root systems, policies, procedures, and personnel from GVR, third-party suppliers, and overseas affiliates is essential.
The role reports to the European Sales Director, Retail Solutions, and has delegated authority to issue instructions and request information from internal teams regarding customer program performance and implementation.
The responsibilities include conducting regular customer meetings, coordinating performance reports, chairing scheduled meetings, and operating within the customer organization to align requirements with GVR.
The role involves problem-solving, resolving contract issues, influencing customer responses, and ensuring timely communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Collaborate with Retail Solutions, Aftermarket, Operations, Finance, FBS, CEO & Commercial Teams to implement account plans and programs effectively.
* Engage with customer stakeholders to deliver key program metrics.
* Harmonize customer requirements, oversee responses to tenders, and quotations for cross-national opportunities.
* Focus on and improve end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure product demand timelines are met.
* Provide forecasts and planning data for successful program delivery.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships and a service ethic to develop a competitive advantage.
* Analyze monthly reports to identify improvement opportunities, minimize cost trends, and communicate findings to the Contract Steering Committee.
* Review program performance statistics and resolve issues with stakeholders.
* Aim for high customer satisfaction levels.
PERSONAL QUALITIES, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
* Proven success in business development from conception to operations.
* Qualifications in Commerce, Marketing, Accounting, Engineering, or Business.
Preferred:
* Sales experience with major commercial accounts negotiation.
* Thorough knowledge of commercial markets.
Specific Skills:
* Program management experience.
