Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating with customers and prospecting for new business opportunities in Italy.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
* Negotiate contracts with existing and prospective customers.
* Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
* Deliver offers and quotes to customers.
* Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities
* Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
* Collaborate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions for customers.
* Search for new business opportunities, especially in relation to replacing Polyamide compounds.
* Negotiate the best terms of sale in agreement with management.
* Manage and record various customer rates.
* Issue material samples and test requests for the laboratory.
* Build and nurture customer relationships to develop long-term partnerships.
* Control proper application of contracts and planned sales volumes with assigned customers.
* Identify, anticipate, and manage customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and changes in the customer's structure.
* Act as an interface between customers and management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance.
* Assist the technical and sales teams for tests, complaints, or disputes.
* Report on individual sales activities, customer situations, and sample progress during exchanges with management and sales meetings.
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
* Detailed knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques.
* A thorough understanding of company products and their advantages.
* Good knowledge of the plastics industry and plastics processing, especially injection molding, with a proven track record of successful account management.
* An analytical mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
* Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate potential problems with customers.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate internally and externally at different levels and departments.
* Ability to effectively use MS Office and ERP systems.
* Fluency in both Italian and English.
