Arduino is seeking an AI Product Manager to shape the future of our AI product ecosystem, spanning Edge AI‑enabled hardware, developer tools, and end‑to‑end workflows that make it simple to build and deploy intelligent applications. /ppIn this role, you’ll collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, software, cloud, and business teams to define and deliver AI products that matter. You’ll drive the entire lifecycle—from early investigation and concept validation to launch and continuous improvement—with a strong focus on user needs, technical feasibility, and meaningful impact. /ppThis position can be based at our operational headquarters in Turin or remotely within Italy. /ph3Minimum Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field. /lili5+ years of Product Management or related work experience. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliA challenging role in a fast‑growing company with a modern, international environment /liliCompetitive salary and benefits /liliA mission‑driven culture with diverse and talented teams /liliPersonalized growth plans and a dedicated annual training budget /liliFlexible working hours and strong work–life balance /liliFor office‑based employees: ping‑pong tournaments, happy hours, rooftop lunches, and a creative, welcoming workplace /li /ulh3What You’ll Work On /h3h3Shape the Vision /h3ulliDefine and manage the roadmap for Arduino’s AI and Edge AI product portfolio across Education, Maker, Professional, and Industrial segments /liliIdentify new AI opportunities through research, user insights, and competitive analysis—including GenAI‑assisted experiences and on‑device intelligence /liliTranslate complex AI technologies (LLMs/LVMs/MLLMs, CNN/RNN/LSTM/U‑Net) into accessible, impactful product strategies aligned with Arduino’s mission /li /ulh3Drive Development /h3ulliCollaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements for Edge AI products, optimizing model deployment, inference speed, memory footprint, and power usage /liliPartner with silicon and hardware teams on acceleration, compute architecture, and performance constraints /liliHelp drive a heterogeneous computing strategy by aligning runtime, compilers/toolchains, and hardware capabilities for real‑world applications (vision, audio, sensor fusion, etc.) /liliWork closely with the Product Experience team to deliver high‑quality documentation and developer resources: examples, tutorials, benchmarking kits, and troubleshooting guides /liliShape the evolution of AI‑powered developer tools such as code‑generation assistants, model‑suggestion systems, and automated workflow builders /li /ulh3Prepare for Go‑to‑Market Launch /h3ulliCollaborate with marketing, sales, and community teams to develop clear messaging, training materials, and engaging content /liliContribute to positioning and pricing strategies for AI‑focused products /liliAlign cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth, coordinated launches across engineering, content, operations, and partnerships /li /ulh3Own the Lifecycle /h3ulliTrack product performance through customer feedback, usage data, and business KPIs /liliAnticipate market trends and adjust the roadmap to stay ahead of user needs /liliIdentify opportunities for performance, usability, cost, and tooling improvements /liliGuide key lifecycle decisions including platform transitions, major updates, and end‑of‑life planning /li /ulh3Partner Ecosystem Leadership /h3ulliEngage with customers and partners (OEMs, module vendors, solution providers, research groups) to gather requirements and translate them into clear specifications /liliBuild alignment across global, cross‑functional teams; communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences /liliExplore new AI opportunities across future hardware platforms, software features, developer workflows, and reference applications /li /ulh3What You Bring /h3ulli5+ years of Product Management experience in AI, ML, or edge computing /liliStrong technical background in AI/ML, including GenAI (LLMs/LVMs/MLLMs) and traditional models (CNN/RNN/LSTM/U‑Net), with an emphasis on deployment and performance /liliExperience with Edge AI toolchains and runtimes (model conversion, quantization, profiling, benchmarking) and a solid understanding of on‑device inference constraints /liliKnowledge of NPU/accelerator architectures and SoC integration /liliDemonstrated ability to drive cross‑functional projects in international teams /liliExcellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics for various audiences /liliFluency in English; Italian is a strong plus /liliOccasional travel availability for partner meetings, events, and customer visits /li /ulh3Preferred Minimum Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, AI/ML, or related fields /lili5+ years of Product Management or related work experience /li /ulh3Bonus Points /h3ulliHands‑on experience with TinyML, microcontrollers, or AI on constrained devices; familiarity with Arduino boards and toolchains /liliExperience in the semiconductor industry, NPU roadmaps, or working directly with chip vendors /liliFamiliarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, ONNX, OpenVINO, PyTorch export pipelines, or embedded inference engines /liliExperience with AI in multimedia (vision, audio, video) or hardware‑software co‑optimization /liliAbility to write or review technical content (model deployment docs, benchmarks, tutorials, reference implementations) /liliOpen‑source experience and comfort working in community‑driven ecosystems /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3pIf you're excited about this role and our mission but don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
