Building on its leadership in photovoltaics, LONGi has recently expanded into the energy storage sector. /ppbr/ppbYour mission /b /ppAs Senior Key Account Manager – BESS, you will lead the development and expansion of LONGi’s battery energy storage business across Italy. You will own strategic utility-scale customer relationships, drive BESS project sales from early-stage opportunity through execution, and position LONGi as a trusted partner for large-scale energy storage solutions. Your role is pivotal in building LONGi’s footprint in the fast-growing storage market and enabling energy transition through commercially successful projects. /ppbr/ppbJOB DESCRIPTION /b /ppbBusiness Development Sales Leadership /b /pulliDevelop and execute the sales strategy for utility-scale bbattery storage systems (BESS) /b in Italy /liliIdentify, qualify and secure new BESS customers including utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), developers, EPCs, and energy investors. /liliBuild and expand LONGi’s network of strategic partners and key accounts within the energy storage ecosystem. /liliDrive project pipeline development from lead generation through contract closure. /liliOwn commercial negotiations including pricing, contract terms, and framework agreements for battery storage projects. /li /ulpbKey Account Management /b /pulliAct as the primary interface between LONGi and its strategic BESS customers. /liliDevelop long-term account strategies to grow share of wallet and customer lifetime value. /liliManage customer relationships from pre-sales, technical clarification, contracting, and order execution to after-sales support. /liliIdentify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities linking battery storage with PV and integrated energy solutions where relevant. /li /ulpbCommercial Strategy Execution /b /pulliImplement monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for battery storage solutions. /liliMonitor market trends, competitors and policy developments in the Italian energy storage markets. /liliRepresent LONGi at industry events, energy conferences, and customer meetings to enhance brand presence in the storage segment. /liliContribute to regional market-entry strategies, go-to-market planning and channel development for energy storage. /li /ulpbInternal Coordination /b /pulliWork closely with internal stakeholders including product management, engineering, legal, finance, logistics and service teams to support successful project delivery. /liliCoordinate technical proposals and commercial alignment with solution manager and engineering teams. /liliEnsure contract execution, payment discipline, and customer satisfaction. /liliSupport internal feedback loops, sharing market intelligence to inform product development and pricing strategy. /li /ulpbr/ppbMAIN REQUIREMENTS: /b /pulliMinimum 3+ years’ experience in key account management, business development, or sales within energy storage (especially BESS) specific to utility segment in Italian market /liliDeep understanding of utility-scale energy storage use cases (e.g. grid stability, peak shaving, frequency regulation, arbitrage). /liliDemonstrated success selling bbattery storage systems, hybrid projects or energy infrastructure solutions /b is a strong advantage. /liliExperience working with utilities, IPPs, EPCs or energy developers is highly desirable. /liliProven track record managing complex commercial negotiations and closing large contracts. /liliAbility to build and execute account development strategies. /liliExcellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. /liliStrong business acumen and value-selling approach. /liliFluency in Italian and English (written and spoken). /liliWillingness to travel within the region. /li /ulpbr/ppbWE OFFER /b /pulliA challenging position in a market leading photovoltaic company /liliThe chance to work in a global team with international vision /liliA promising career development within our fast-growing organization /liliColleagues with expertise willing to support, hard-work and drive the company with you /liliA competitive salary with a success-based variable, additional benefits, and other attractive perks /liliOpportunity to develop your knowledge, experience and grow in the PV sector with the leading technology company /li /ulp------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- /ppb We get our Energy from our People /p /b
