We are seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Manager in Italy with experience and passion for the air charter, aviation, freight forwarding, logistics, or travel industry. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow with the Chapman Freeborn Airchartering team. Purpose of the Role Proactively identify, target, and secure business opportunities for the products in Italy. Maximize business opportunities by offering tailored solutions that meet client requirements within budgetary and operational constraints, ensuring profitability for the company. Manage a portfolio of clients and actively develop new business through initiatives such as following up on leads, client recommendations, and networking. Create awareness of CF GSA and cargo charter products and services to acquire new regular business. Assist in growing the products across Italy by working with brokers and the EU leadership team. Key Responsibilities Execute sales strategies and implement related business objectives across Italy in line with the Cargo Sales Manager EU and Director GSA. Collaborate with broker teams to develop country-specific plans aligned with sales strategies and support maintaining relationships with existing and new clients and suppliers. Monitor progress monthly against sales targets and report bi-monthly to the Cargo Sales Manager EU and Director GSA, highlighting issues and recommending actions. Identify opportunities to grow the business in new and existing markets to meet objectives. Proactively seek new areas for business development. Stay informed about competitor activity to identify opportunities. Partner with local broker departments, providing relevant information and support throughout the brokering process. Visit potential, new, and existing customers to generate further business. Maintain and develop relationships with key clients and new leads to maximize opportunities and client loyalty. Generate sales activity for all products and customers from a regional and local perspective. Continuously source new operators and suppliers to build relationships and increase active clients. Ideal Candidate Profile Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience. Based in Italy, preferably in Torino, with willingness to travel occasionally. Proficient in Italian and English. Knowledge of the local market. Experience in the aviation industry. Team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship-building, account management, and customer service skills. Ability to balance client needs with business objectives successfully.
