The Commis de Cuisine is familiar with the various kitchen sections and demonstrates a strong sense of teamwork. They operate in full alignment with our company philosophy, brand standards, and standard operating procedures, helping to foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
Main responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Chef de Partie in preparing the mise en place and ensuring a clean, organized workstation at all times.
- Maintaining professional, respectful, and ethical interactions with colleagues, suppliers, and guests.
- Demonstrating a proactive team spirit and actively contributing to a culture of cooperation and mutual support.
- Ensuring full compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations, including fridge temperature checks, proper food labeling, station sanitation, and appropriate use of cleaning and hygiene products.
- Monitoring the proper use, care, and maintenance of kitchen equipment and tools provided.
- Actively participating in training sessions and consistently applying the knowledge and techniques acquired.
Qualifications
- Candidate must already hold a valid work permit for employment in Italy.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience, preferably within hotel or resort kitchens.
- Strong sense of professionalism and reliability.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent command of the Italian language.
